Teeth

SVT|1976|Vetenskapsfotografi

In a segment on Sveriges Television in 1976, images of bacteria on teeth taken by Lennart Nilsson are shown. Rumours said that the next day, toothbrushes sold out. The images, taken with a scanning electron microscope, were colourised in the 1980s by Gillis Häägg. In 1976, they were published in black and white.
