Läkaren och livet
In connection with the 150th anniversary of the Karolinska Institutet, the exhibition 'Läkaren och livet' is being held in Stockholm. It features some of Lennart’s earliest images of embryos and fetuses. At the time, he was in the midst of compiling his photographic material on human development under the working title 'The Human'.
But of course, he is aware that the task is not merely coldly scientific, but also poignant: to use a camera to depict how life comes into being.
